There is a reason why most girls will tell you that they own an absurd amount of booties – because they work with everything! There is something so effortlessly fabulous about a pair of ankle boots. They dress up a pair of jeans, add some edge to a pretty dress, and will always make you look fashionable.
I used to be the girl with more shoes than I knew what to do with and, although this allowed for versatility in my wardrobe, there were times that my personal style would get lost. Since then my style has become more consistent and I have found the pair of shoes that has changed my life, and the pair that I think will change yours. If you read the title, you know this style is a pair of pointed toe ankle boots.
I am obsessed with boots with a pointed toe because they will automatically elevate your style. A simple pair of jeans and a t-shirt will never look boring again. I have yet to find an outfit that doesn’t look better with these shoes. The pair that I have is by Acne Studios and was definitely an investment, but there are so many different styles out there at a much more affordable price point. Check out stores like Zara, Topshop, and ASOS to find similar styles that wont break the bank.
Another reason why I love these boots is that they create an elegantly exaggerated silhouette. By bringing your legs to a point, it looks as if they go on forever. Because the shape is slightly more formal, there are more options as to how to style these shoes. Try them for fun a night out with a fancy skirt. The shoes will bring an added dimension to a typically simple look. Why not push the boundaries with some leather leggings and a simple top? I love this pairing because it adds miles to your legs. Like I’ve said in my last posts, play around with shapes and styles. You’ll never know what you like unless you take some chances.
Shoes are such an integral part of your look. I believe it is worth it to invest in shoes that are classic (perhaps with a twist), good quality, and make your heart flutter a bit every time you slip them on. A pair of pointed toe booties will do just this for you. There are no limitations on what you can and can’t wear them with because they look good with everything! When you look good, and feel good, that’s when you start to find your personal style, and I believe that this one pair of boots will do just that.
